Belleville High Banks Speedway in north central Kansas is one of our favorite tracks for it's wide, multi groove racing. The view from the turn 1 grandstand would look something like this as Dave Darland qualifies the Lewis #9 during the 23rd annual Belleville Midget Nationals.(82k)

Billy Boat has to be regarded as one of the best midget drivers in in the 90's shown here waiting in line to qualify at Altamont's 1/2 mile oval. (57k)

It was a cool experience to see and get to congratulate our local hot shoe Randy Hannagan, on Knoxville's front straight-away, after he had made a last lap pass to win the main event a couple of weeks before the Nationals in 1999. (65k)
